Gaza Strip Israeli military operations intensified significantly over the last 24 hours. A total of 11 airstrikes were conducted across northern, central, and southern Gaza, including specifically Gaza City, Jabalya, and Deir al-Balah. These actions resulted in 66 fatalities and 10 injuries. Two additional drone strikes in Jabalia and Deir al-Balah caused one fatality. Southern Lebanon and Northern Israel Kinetic activity continues along the border. An airstrike hit Ali al-Tahir, while artillery fire was reported in Kfra, resulting in 5 injuries. Explosions were documented in Majdal Zoun and Al-Mansouri. Iraq and Regional Fronts An accidental friendly fire incident involving a U.S. KC-135 Stratotanker in Iraq resulted in 6 fatalities. A separate clash in the region involving machine gun fire caused 60 fatalities. Multiple explosions occurred in Baghdad and at Camp Taji. In the Strait of Hormuz, an anti-ship cruise missile strike and naval warning fire were reported, alongside a failed attack on a civilian tanker. Diplomatic Activity Despite ongoing ceasefire claims, regional maritime embargoes persist. Two tankers bypassed the Houthi-enforced maritime restrictions in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait by disabling AIS transponders. Diplomatic discussions continue in Najaf and Baghdad regarding regional agreements.
